A procedure that checks whether a person offers a guarantee of secrecy. The Act also provides for control vetting proceedings.

The type of vetting depends on the post or the tasks assigned; extended vetting covers, among other things, access to “secret” and “top secret” information (Article 22(1) of the Act on the Protection of Classified Information).¹
